New EE1 Plus: Advanced Noise Reduction for Hi-Fi Streaming

Chord Company brand English Electric has launched the EE1 Plus, an advanced version of its popular EE1 network noise isolator, designed to reduce noise in hi-fi streaming systems.

Building on 40 years of Chord Company’s audio signal expertise, the EE1 Plus introduces improvements in noise reduction from lessons learned since the original EE1 debuted; both devices will be available concurrently (EE1 £300; EE1 Plus £600).

It discreetly fits between Ethernet cables in hi-fi streaming systems, eliminating the network noise often generated by household devices, without hindering digital signals; although digital signals are generally robust, they are often accompanied by a degree of noise.

The EE1 Plus’s passive design converts unwanted noise into heat, ensuring digital data quality remains unaffected. It features galvanic isolation, targeted common-mode filtering, and Chord Company’s proprietary ARAY technology.

Noise reduction can be achieved in various configurations: between a data switch and a streamer/server, a server and a streamer, or a router and a data switch. Further reduction can be attained by using additional devices, for example, between a router and a data switch, and between the switch and a streamer.

Manufactured from precision-machined aluminium and featuring two premium decoupled isolation feet, the EE1 Plus is engineered for superior performance in streaming hi-fi systems. Its compact design makes installation straightforward.

English Electric products are covered by a 24-month (return-to-base) warranty from the initial date of purchase, covering defective materials and workmanship.

The English Electric EE1 Plus is available now priced at £600 and for a limited time, is supplied with a free 0.75m C-Stream streaming cable.
