Audeze Announce Penrose and Penrose X

The Penrose and Penrose X is a brand new wireless, planar magnetic gaming headset designed for the next generation of console gaming. Known for their uncompromised audio quality, Audeze is looking to deliver a 2.4GHz lossless, low latency wireless connection featuring their award-winning 100mm planar magnetic driver technology. The same technology that revolutionized gaming audio in the Morbius, the Penrose and Penrose X now join the pack.

Enhanced chat and streaming will also be a major focus, as the Penrose features a newly designed, broadcast-quality microphone with a max SPL of more than 140dB and built-in noise filters that reduce up to 20dB of background sound, players can communicate with greater confidence. Bluetooth 5.0 (SBC and AAC) paired simultaneously with the 2.4GHz wireless, players will be able to chat on their mobile devices without interrupting their gaming experience.

The two variants are differentiated by game system. The Penrose will be available for the PS4, and PS5, while the Penrose X will be available for the Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Both models will also work for Mac and Windows.

The Penrose and Penrose X will go for $299 and are available for pre-order now from Audeze.
